The weather during February hasn't been very good for hiking. If it wasn't bitter cold, it was snowing and raining...... My training has been restricted to the treadmill.... gak!
But finally, the weather has just been amazing the last few days. Clear, temps in the mid 50's; no wind ...awesome! So it was time to hit the trail again. So, today I got off work early, and took my hiking stuff with me, and did a trail I hadn't been on in a while: Waldo Canyon.
I'd forgotten how tough the initial climb was, but once up top, the views are simply stunning. This is the only place where you can see both Pikes and Almagre from the back side.
